Preparation & Cooling
We recommend that guests bring coolers and plenty of ice for the animal or animals they plan to process so they can safely take their meat home after processing We have local gas stations and a grocery store that will have ice available during normal business hours.
Traditional Celebrations
Springbrook Farms is honored to host families for traditional celebrations like Eid-al-Adha and Aqiqah. We respect all heritage practices, providing a serene environment for families to observe their customs with dignity. Our facilities are currently in the process of being built out. Currently, we will have a dry space in one of our barns for processing, along with a table, cutting board, set of knives. We will have running water and an outhouse also available.
Deposits & Privacy
Visits are strictly by appointment to maintain the focus on our livestock. A non-refundable deposit secures your animal and reservation; once confirmed, exact location details in the Hortonville area will be provided privately. If for some reason you are not able to complete your purchase, your deposit can be applied to another animal within the next 12 months. After 12 months, the deposit is forfeited.
Checklist for Your Visit
- 60-quart cooler (recommended size for safely carrying your purchase)
- 20 lbs of ice per animal to maintain proper temperature and quality
- Bags to pack the meat in
- Remaining payment for the animal
